Welcome to The Knaphillian

The True Voice of Knaphill

Introduction.....

With four restaurants and numerous takeaway outlets there really is no need to cook or go hungry in Knaphill. Most of the local pubs also lay on food so the choice has never been so good.

Where possible we have reviewed the whole dining experience at each of the village's restaurants. However, we are aware that people have differing opinions on quality, atmosphere and value for money. Consistency in service is also very important.

Forbidden City

This Chinese/Thai restaurant opened as recently as December 2005 and was dogged by problems with it's alcohol licence. Fortunately they have recovered from that initial hiccup. I have received mixed reviews from various acquaintances who have already tried it out. My own experience though wasn't too bad and the menu was quite reasonable.

Gusto D'Italia & Taste of India

New

Formerly Nino's. - A message from one of the Co-owners....

"Hello, My name is Jas, I am co-owner of what was previously known as "Nino's".  We have taken over the Italian restaurant and also added an Indian restaurant too!! - sounds bizarre, well it actually works!! - we have many customers walking in that are over whelmed with the idea that a person sitting on one side of the table can have Italian and the other person sitting on the other side of the table can have Indian.... how amazing does that sound!!! - In fact we are two, totally separate by taste, restaurants under one roof.

We have two sets of chefs, and pride ourselves in serving traditional, homemade style, authentic Indian food where as for the Italian side, we will serve fine dine, gourmet Italian cuisine.

Please call us on 01483 486665 or 476660 for further details or feel free to simply pop in".

Khyber Pass

You always know that you will get consistency when visiting The Khyber Pass Indian restaurant. I have never ever left this restaurant hungry and the prices have always been quite reasonable. With likeable waiters on hand to cater for your every whim, this is nearly always a pleasant experience.

Viceroy

Whilst the waiters are always keen to give good service, I have always felt that this restaurant lacks the quality and value for money that is so evident at The Khyber Pass. I would however, like to give it another try in the near future and would certainly hope that things have improved since my last visit. The restaurant also provides a comprehensive take away and delivery service.  Now Closed & Up For Sale
