Do any Knaphill residents know if its OK to take photographs in the Military Cemetary at Brookwood?  I've looked on the Brookwood Cemetery website, and it says that the site is privately owned and you need a permit to take photos, however, I thought all military cemetaries were owned/operated by the War Graves Commission so not sure if this restriction is correct.  I don't want to take pics of individual head stones showing names of dead soldiers.  Appreciate it sounds a bit morbid but I want to show pictures of it to my family up North whose parents and grandparents fought in WWII.

Hi, I think you will find if its for personal reasons its ok. For commercial purposes then I think it would be courteous to seek permission. Also there may be a fee involved..
