The Knaphillian

What's happened to the Anchor recently? It used to be such a comfortable and cosy pub. Now it is so unwelcoming and filthy. I hope for the sake of everyone it gets sorted out soon.

I agree. It does need sorting. Used to be the best watering hole in Knaphill! 

Actually I still like the Anchor. It's not that bad and is the only decent place in Knaphill for young people who are old enough to drink.  Love Lola x

Might that be the explanation?

Anyone who has visited The Anchor recently, will see that things are on the up. Angie, Stevie and Jon have done a great job in turning things around and this has been proven with the introduction of live bands and the open mic nights. The pub is certainly able to cater for all ages and tastes and the team there should be proud of their achievements so far..

I have to agree!  I tend to stay clear of the Anchor but went on Friday because they had live music!  What a great band and surprisingly a great atmosphere!
